Look no further, he has the answer for every employee situation encountered in the workplace and even gives insight into relationship skills within your own family. One of his best ideas in his book is "Forget chain of command structures, ask people at every level of the business how they're doing and if they have any suggestions for company improvement." This is a concept noted in Elon Musk's play-book where he eliminates silo building and encourages open dialogue across all levels of the company. There are only two types of leaders; those who serve and those who like to be served. If your desire is to create an inspired workforce that collaborate together for the wealth of your company then Trevor's book is the blueprint.

Trevor did a wonderful job of providing real value in this book. He understands and communicates what it takes to build a successful culture. I can see why companies who have implemented his advice are getting amazing results. I was fortunate to have the opportunity to interview Trevor on my podcast, where he addressed many tactics for success. The podcast is a great complement to this book!

I loved the book. Such practical insight offered by the author and I especially loved the section at the end of each chapter called "People Action Steps" and "In Summary" section

The Power of People Skills is a must-read for anyone who aspires to be a better team-member or leader in an organization. I often get bored about 50 pages into most business books, but Throness kept me engaged and challenged right to the end. His practical ideas and great storytelling kept my mind whirring about improvements I can make, and also made me chuckle many times.

Great read. Concrete tips to help expose weak team members, and provide insight into retaining and developing stars. Having seen the positive results from implementing the writer's strategies, I highly recommend this book.
