A good wildflower identification guide with quality images. Since it's a fold-out brochure rather than a book, it doesn't contain much information about distribution, uses, etc.--but if you can identify a flower, you can look that stuff up.
Just didn't have many of the flowers I was seeing in So. California so I'll have to get a more detailed book.

Saw this in a store where I live but they were charging more than the suggested price on the back. Found it on Amazon for the suggested price. Fits right in my backpack, folds like a map & is sealed in plastic so it's waterproof. Perfect for taking on hikes.
Handy guide for identifying the most common types of So Cal wildflowers. It is plastic covered to protect from outdoor use. Disappointed in that there are many wildflowers in my area that aren't included in the guide.
The plastic lamination protects it in all weather. The flowers are grouped by color which makes it easy to find the flower you are looking for. I take it on all my hikes!
