Such a great concept. My daughter shelved it for the time being as she is not there yet, but I'm keeping it. When the Lord calls she will read it.
Fabulous book! Read it before giving to my 12 year old daughter (13 soon). Some material is more for high school but is written appropriately so she will still relate. Book is filled with fabulous lessons and reminders even for parents. Hope my daughter never forgets she can ALWAYS lean on God. 😇
My 11 year grandson loves to read and I make both grandsons read 30 minutes a day. Then we go over what they thought and feel. It really makes a difference when they read it, instead of saying let’s talk. Kids are different at this age, I’m learning too with them. Happynana

We purchased a few of these books after having bought one for our sons to read. Every time they read a chapter we asked them to share with us the parents what they had learnt from it. When they had finished reading the entire book we realised how much the book had changed our sons temperament. Therefore we decided to purchase a few more of the books to be used as study material for the youths in our church.
My 2 teenager kids don't have a religious education and I bought this book not knowing what to expect. We started reading it, one chapter per evening and talking about each theme, it open, in a natural way a door to talk about religion, beliefs and most importantly actitudes toward the situations they face at school and with friends, and the importance of values, introspection and faith.Great book, great guide, even if your family is not actively involved in religion.
My 14 year old loves this book. She read it in a Bible Study group at church. Thankful for great resources like this to encourage my daughters. This even encouraged me to pull out my old books--Power of a Praying Parent and Wife.
